1. Over the Air via Wap Browser

• Start the Wap Browser on your device (usually you can find the browser in a menu like "Internet" or "Services")
   
• Enter one of two addresses as shown in the example below for CityGuide Mobile:
   
  http://www.kaiserslautern.de/cgm/CityGuide-Mobile.jar
  http://www.kaiserslautern.de/cgm/CityGuide-Mobile.jad
   
  (Some devices require the jad-file, others require the jar-file)
   
• The installation process will now be launched. Depending on the device, the application will be installed in the folder "applications" or "games".  

2. Via Connection to a Desktop Computer

• Click on the addresses above and save the files on your Desktop Computer.
   
• Send the files to your mobile device via infrared, bluetooth, data cable or PC Suite*.
   
• In case the installation process does not start at once, you will find the application data in the message inbox of your mobile device.
   
• Should the situation arise, open the message to launch the installation process.

3. Via Bluetooth through a service area of the city

• In case a city offers a CityGuide-Bluetooth Service within one of their city offices, you are always able to receive the application as a message sent by Bluetooth.
   
• When you have been informed about the service by appropriate signs, simply activate the Bluetooth-Connection on your mobile device in order to receive the application.
   
• After app. 1 Minute in the Bluetooth-area, you will receive a message that will install CityGuide ME.
   
• Should the situation arise, open the message to launch the installation process.
